As an integrated marketing communications professional with a knack for all-things social, digital, and PR, James Sims III possess more than eight years experience developing and leading local and national marketing communications campaigns that reinvigorate brand identity and drive business.
While cutting his teeth at award-winning agencies in Chicago, representing large CPG brands like McDonald's and Toyota, James has proven to be creatively strategic with a keen eye for design and strong digital aptitude. He has had the opportunity to spearhead traditional and digital programs within industries including start-up/tech, fashion/retail, architecture & design, restaurant/food/beverage, hospitality, multicultural, LGBT, nonprofit, and entertainment/music.
Born and raised in Chicago, James attended The University of Michigan where he received his B.A. in Italian Literature and Language, and returned home to attend The Illinois Institute of Art, where he received another B.A. in Fashion Marketing and Management.
He currently volunteers and consults for MUSIC Inc., a local music education nonprofit, serving students in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood.
